Spot something new at BMK Sarinah?? Previously known as Baso Malang Karapitan for over 20 years, BMK has recently introduced new concept called BASO MIE KOPI.

Baso Mie Kopi (BMK) has two different concepts, BMK Booth or BMK Restaurant. BMK Booth focuses more on take out, while BMK Restaurant has more menu for dine in for example Soto Betawi, Sop Iga, Ayam Goreng Sambal Tempong, Siomay, Batagor, etc. AnakJajan recently visited Sarinah outlet with booth concept, we heard that more outlets are coming.

BMK Booth offers food and beverages such as Baso, Noodle, Rice, Coffee, and Non Coffee drinks suitable for take out. Let’s take a look of some of the menu.

Baso Malang Karapitan – Super Komplit IDR 24,545

Baso Kuah Rawon Komplit (Mie, Bihun, Sayur) – Baso Halus IDR 23,636
First, the meatball, it has nice meaty bouncy texture. For rawon soup, it has strong spices aroma and it goes well with the meatballs, don’t forget to add some chili sauce for extra spicy kick.

Baso Kuah Pedas Komplit (Mie, Bihun, Sayur) – Baso Granat IDR 29,091
Imagine spicy broth with meatball filled with chili, spicy and addictive! Personally it was too hot for our liking but still enjoyable. Spicy food lovers gonna love this!

Mie Ayam Sambal Matah – Baso Urat Besar IDR IDR 28,182

Classic noodle like this never fails to satisfy. They use thin small noodle, it’s homemade and yummy with springy texture and savory taste. Lots of love for the spicy chili sauce, it adds a nice flavor. Remember to order deep fried wontons for extra crunchy sensation.

BMK’s version of iced coffee milk suits our palates with medium bold coffee, not too milky and not too strong, enjoyable!

Ice Black Forest Latte IDR 21,818
Chocolatey drink with hint of rhum. Quite enjoyable.

Es Kopi Susu Durian IDR 23,636
For durian lovers like us, AnakJajan gotta say that the unique combination is successful. The aroma from coffee and durian complements each other nicely. This drink has strong durian smell but in a good way.

THESE ARE THE WINNERS! There are two types of Regal drinks, being a huge fan of the milk cookies, we opted to try both.
For rhum kick, you can order Ice Irish Latte Regal, or if you like it sweet with caramel-like taste, then try Ice Aren Milk Regal. Both are really good with yummy cookie crumbs, must must try!

Ice Mango Tea IDR 16,364 & Ice Lemongrass Tea IDR 16,364
For non coffee option, these two are simply refreshing!

Overall, AnakJajan kinda like the new BMK concept, it feels more suitable for market needs nowadays. Enjoyable food, reasonable price, easy for grab and go or delivery order.
