AnakJajan got something exciting to share with you, Attarine, a new modern casual all-day restaurant by The Potato Head Group in Gunawarman – Senopati area, South Jakarta.
Attarine will be open for public on 15th October 2016 for dinner only (18.00 – 23.00) and both for lunch & dinner on 22nd October 2016. Inspired by the flavors of spice trade route from Asia to Europe, Attarine offers various dishes from all over the world with rich spices and seasoning.
Furnished with wooden furniture, green plants, open kitchen, high ceiling and wood-fire oven, Attarine has a cozy and unique decor typical Potato Head’s establishment, the classic pastel color car in the middle of restaurant is really eye catching I bet most of the customers are going to take picture with it as background.
For non alcohol drink option, Attarine offers various mocktail, tea, Indonesian tea and also coffee by 1/15 with prices ranging from IDR 30 to IDR 50k and also alcohol drinks IDR 90k to IDR 300k. The menu for dinner consists of three categories, starters/ small bites, vegetables + grains and mains with prices ranging from IDR 25k to IDR 175k.

Refreshing and fizzy thirst quencher with griled lemon, palm sugar and soda.
Roseberry Fizz IDR 50k
Rasberry, rose water, lemon juice, sugar syrup, fluffy egg white, and soda.

Jamu Royal IDR 50k
One of the mocktails in Attarine that caught AnakJajan’s attention was Jamu Royal. A unique mocktail combination between turmeric, tamarind, honey, lemon juice, carrot and ginger beer. It’s refreshing, gingery, sweet yet sour.

Cast-Iron Skillet Shrimp IDR 135k
Huge juicy and sweet fresh shrimps cooked with chili, tamarind, corriander and served with focaccia on the side. The portion is generous while the seasoning is pretty enjoyable, savory and tangy altogether.
Stuffed Onion IDR 115k
A unique starter dish where they stuff the onion with minced beef and rice. It tastes savory with delightful sweet notes and aroma from the caramelized onion.
Golden Cauliflower IDR 45k
Never been a fan of cauliflower but this one was pretty impressive, crunchy with hint of ginger and turmeric and then creamy flavor from cashew butter. Very aromatic with refreshing sour taste.
Wood Fired Flat Bread IDR 75k
Homemade flat bread cooked in the wood-fire oven served with eggplant sauce and aromatic fried garlic. It’s a very simple yet delicious dish, the homemade bread is very flaky and buttery.
Wood Fired whole White Snapper with Zucchini & Tomatoes IDR 325k (seasonal)
This one was AnakJajan’s favorite, fresh fish roasted in wood-fire oven with simple Himalayan salt, pepper and lemon seasoning. Love the light and simple seasoning to let the flavor from fresh fish shine.
Slowcooked Lamb Shoulder Chops IDR 400k
Served with onion zucchini, the lamb chops were executed nicely with tender texture and to my surprise it didn’t have any unpleasant smell at all. The addition of pomegranate was a genius touch, it gave this dish a nice sweet and sour flavors.
Overall, Attarine is a unique and different addition to the food scene in Jakarta especially in Senopati-Gunawarman area. Indonesian especially Jakartans are going to enjoy the flavorful and rich in spices dishes here. Congratulations in advance for the opening and best of luck for Attarine! Let’s Jajan!!
