PASAR SENGGOL IS BACK!! This year the uber fun food festival in Summarecon Mal Bekasi (SMB) is held from 14th April to 14th May 2017 in West Parking area, The Downtown Walk with “Jelajahi Kuliner Eurasia” theme.

The festive event is certainly a must visit every year, with the Eurasia food theme this year, visitor can enjoy European and Asian cuisine from 81 tenants complete with other fun entertainments. The festival opens from 4PM to 10PM on weekday (Monday to Friday) and from 11AM to 11PM on weekend (Saturday, Sunday and Public Holiday).

Held in a spacious outdoor area, basically there are 4 main categories of the tenants; 42 booths, 22 carts, 4 coffee tenants and 13 food trucks with 20% western food, 40% Asian food and 40% Indonesian food. The visitors are certainly spoiled with endless options, from savory to sweet, light bites to heavy meal, they have it all here, even some of the rare street food options that we crave the most are available here.

During AnakJajan’s visit to Pasar Senggol 2017, we had a small talkshow session along with Sahabat Jajan, it was memorable and we had sooo much fun meeting everyone. Big thanks to Summarecon Mal Bekasi for arranging this fun event.

One of the tenant that caught our eyes and attention immediately was the Pentol Pedas, it’s actually a very simple traditional street food but it’s very hard to find nowadays that’s why we were extremely excited about it. Each portion of Pentol Pedas Daging costs IDR 25k, it was bouncy springy and savory with addictive kick of spicy taste. Irresistibly good!!

Icy cold treat is always a great idea after having hot spicy food, so we got this colorful sweet and instagrammable shaved ice dessert, Fruity Lava IDR 25k.

The other great finding was TELUR GULUNG!! Ahhhh a simple street food that brings back the childhood memories. You can get original egg roll, sausage eggroll, beefball egg roll, or mix, AnakJajan got the mix one with 2 original, 1 sausage, and 1 beefball for IDR 20k.

AnakJajan also got the Poutine Fries IDR 19k from Cux Chicken since the cheesy treat smells sooo good and it turned out to be very yummy as well, the fries were drizzled generously with savory gravy and topped with generous amount of melted cheese.

Since we need something heavy for dinner, I ordered a bowl of Mie Ayam Bakso IDR 23k from the Pondok Aduhai cart and the springy savory noodle was simply satisfying. While for Mr. Jajan, he got Lontong Sayur IDR 38k from Lontong Sayur Medan Ibu Ari with super festive toppings complete with beed rendang.

Besides eating, visitors can also spend their time having fun with tons of entertainments provided at Pasar Senggol 2017 such as 8D cinema, ferris wheel, water balls, trampoline, mini helicopter, virtual reality and tons of other fun games. There are also music and performances scheduled to entertain the guests at the main stage.

Overall, as usually, AnakJajan had so much fun at Pasar Senggol, we got to give Summarecon Mal Bekasi double thumbs up for the amazing and well arranged event, tons of fun entertainment, endless options of tasty food and beverages. You got to give it a visit before the event ends on 14th May 2017. Let’s jajan at Pasar Senggol 2017!!
