Situated on spacious area, Warung Wakaka in Muara Karang has a huge seating area with nice laidback atmosphere. It has become one stop destination for late night supper serving all local street food like Martabak, Ropang, Sate Taichan, Indomie, etc. The wide range of menu comes in affordable price.

One of the happening local iced milk coffee is also available here and AnakJajan gotta say Warung Wakaka makes an enjoyable one, the consistency between coffee, milk and palm sugar is just well-balanced.

Indomie Kuah Special Wakaka (Single) IDR 22k
Their signature soup Indomie creation uses curry broth. AnakJajan found the soup was very tasty, creamy rich with touch of spices.

Indomie Goreng Special Wakaka (Sharing) IDR 55k
This menu is one of their top selling items. It’s basically Indomie Goreng topped with sunny side up egg, Sambal Matah, Chicken and Vegetables. It’s available in 3 options; single, double, and sharing. AnakJajan opted for Sharing portion, it comes in huge portion that can feed up to 4 people.

Chicken Skin 1/2 dozen IDR 35k // 1 dozen IDR 60k
In front of Warung Wakaka, there are huge charcoal grill to grill their Chicken Skewer and the smell is just sooo inviting, so we decided to give it a try. The chicken itself was grilled nicely with nice savory taste and it’s served with chili sauce with medium level of spiciness. While for Chicken Skin, it’s super savory, crispy, and addictive.

Grilled Cheese Sandwich – Grilled Chicken IDR 35k
Warung Wakaka knows how to make grilled cheese sandwich nicely. The bread was buttered generously and toasted until golden on the outside, while filled with generous filling.

Nana Tella IDR 35k
This particular menu has been my ultimate favorite item to order at Warung Wakaka. It’s just DAYUM!! Imagine golden buttered toasted bread filled with melting cheese, nutella jam, and banana. Isn’t the combination heavenly?!

Martabak Tipker Coklat Keju IDR 35k
Classic crispy sweet delicacy that simply cannot go wrong. It turns out that, Warung Wakaka has 29 options of Martabak Tipker with 5 options of additional topping.

Smores Dip – Chocolate Chip & Cookies IDR 45k

Sangkaya Bun IDR 25k
Homemade steamed bun served with sweet coconut jam and salty coconut milk.

Martabak Telor – Beef (with duck egg) IDR 60k + Rawit IDR 5k + Moza Pepperoni IDR 40k
For savory martabak, there are 7 options of filling and 3 options of add-on topping. You can also choose whether you want to use chicken or duck egg. AnakJajan opted for classic Beef Martabak with duck egg, to make it even more sexy, we requested Mozzarella Pepperoni and Cabe Rawit or Bird’s eye chili add-ons.

Well, picture tells everything, it was a delicious guilty pleasure indeed, cheesy, crunchy on the outside, while savory spicy on the inside. The pickles condiment gave the martabak a nice fresh kick.

Overall, fast service, cozy spacious place to hang out with friends, great selection of menu in affordable price. We can totally see why Warung Wakaka is so populer.
