Embracing the mood of upcoming CNY, AnakJajan though you might want to read a Chinese food recommendation. A few months ago, AnakJajan had a dinner gathering at Sanur Mangga Dua but only manage to write it down on the blog now, blame all the busy schedule #oopsiee 😀
The restaurant serves wide range of dishes from seafood, meat, vegetables, etc. Aside from classic familiar Chinese dishes, you might be able to find unique Chinese Fujian dishes and it’s highly recommended. AnakJajan had quite a lot of dishes there and the food was fantastic! As for the place, equipped with private rooms, the restaurant is a perfect fit for family gathering or events.

One of the classic Fujian dishes that we highly recommend you to try is their fishball. The fishball was very tasty, juicy bouncy, but the best part has gotta be the minced pork filling, DAYUM!

1000% MUST ORDER!! The fried lemon seasoned with sweet and sour lemon seasoning was surprisingly SOOO GOOD!! The taste will keep changing as you chew, first you’ll get sweet and sour taste from the lemon, then savory taste from chicken, also subtle hint of herbs, chili, and shallot. It kept us wanting for more.

The Steamed Crab was cooked with glass noodle, the simple savory seasoning played a major part to let the natural sweetness of fresh crab out. Tasty and you won’t get tired of the taste.

If have been following our blog for years, you probably already know that’s I’m obsessed with sweet potato and I’m 100% obsessed with these Sweet Potato Puff!! Basically it’s mashed sweet potato filled with sugar and crushed peanut, and then deep fried. You’ll get the nice sweet potato aroma and nutty taste on each bite.
There’s no better dish to end the meal other than the restaurant’s signature Onde Manis, slightly chewy but soft glutinous rice balls sprinkled with generous amount of sweet peanut powder. Major tasty!
