MOMO PARADISE – Plaza Indonesia, Jakarta

After PIK & Senopati, our favorite All You Can Eat (AYCE) Shabu-shabu & Sukiyaki restaurant, Momo Paradise Indonesia is now open in Plaza Indonesia mall.

The new outlet in Plaza Indonesia is located on level 5 with the same concept, All You Can Eat authentic Shabu-shabu & Sukiyaki.

The vegetable display looks very fresh and tempting as always, well that’s one of the reasons why we love Momo Paradise so much. In this post, AnakJajan are going to share with you our usual favorite combo, our must have item every time we visit the restaurant. But first, the most important info, the price, here are the AYCE packages.

– Lunch package applies from 11.00 to 16.00 on weekday
– AYCE includes soup, meat, more than 20 type of home-grown vegetables and mushroom, 100% pasteurized egg, sauce, soup, rice, ramen, chicken balls, udon, tofu, ice cream, mochi, & drink.

Up to the third outlet, AnakJajan gotta say that Momo Paradise Indonesia consistently offers great standard. Well there are more reason why we love this AYCE restaurant so much.

The first reason of course the MEAT QUALITY. Of course when it comes to shabu-shabu and sukiyaki, meat is the center of attention and Momo Paradise’s meat quality is undoubtedly good and fresh. The meat has just the right cut, not too thick but not too thin, perfect for soup.

Since we chose Premium Wagyu Package, we can try all the meat option, out of 5 options: US Short Plate, US Chuck Eyeroll, Wagyu Bolar Blade, Wagyu Chuck Eyeroll, and Wagyu Brisket. The US Chuck Eyeroll and Wagyu Chuck Eyeroll remain our top favorite!!

Next reason would be the soup. Even though they use no additive and no MSG, the tastes of soup complements the meat nicely without overpowering. Do you know that instead of one soup in one pot, you can get mixed of 2 soup in one pot?? Me and Mr. Jajan always get mixed of Spicy Miso & Sukiyaki soup.

Spicy Miso is kimchi based soup mixed with spicy miso and other ingredients. The soup is rich and tasteful, served with kara miso sauce. For this soup, we always love to put chicken balls & ramen noodle, so good!

If we have to choose 1 favorite soup, Sukiyaki would be the one. It’s flavorful and full of umami with perfect balance of sweet and savory taste. Udon noodle, mushroom and tofu are highly recommended for this soup!

After cooking the meat in sukiyaki soup, make sure to dip it in fresh egg for smooth creamy sensation, OISHI!!

Ok, last reason why we love Momo Paradise Indonesia is their Jelly Mochi!! For sweet ending they offer ice cream and jelly mochi. Ice cream is available in lemon, ogura/ red bean, and vanilla with choco chips, while jelly mochi comes in pandan and ogura/ red bean. We always love loveee to end our meal with the chewy jelly mochi with a cup of coffee or tea, it’s definitely a MUST HAVE!

Overall as usual, Momo Paradise never fails to satisfy with their fresh vegetables, quality meat, and great service. It’s definitely the place to go whenever you crave for Japanese style AYCE Shabu-shabu & Sukiyaki.
