Do you still remember our previous review for Warung MJS? Well we got you a good news, they’ve launched new rice bowl online delivery via GoFood Jakarta called NYAH KUNYAH.

The food in Warung MJS never fails to satisfy that’s why when AnakJajan got excited when they launched rice bowl brand, well it’s about time because on certain occasion people need something quick easy but tasty option.

The rice bowl game at Nyah Kunyah is strong, it deserves a blog post review for its own because it’s SO SOOOO GOOD! Undoubtedly good because it’s managed by Warung MJS.

Available via GoFood online delivery only, you can search the brand on GoFood: Nyah Kunyah, Setiabudi. Specializes in rice bowl ranging between IDR 39.5k to IDR 44.5k, the price includes rice bowl, egg, ‘kremesan’, and iced tea. There are two main categories, chicken or beef, most of the menu are spicy because it’s what they’re famous with, for non spicy menu they have Ayam Bakar and Daging Sapi Grundel.

Ayam Sambal Setan IDR 39.5k / Daging Sapi Sambal Setan IDR 44.5k
Sambal Setan is one of the signature item from Warung MJS made from basil, spices, and spicy birdeye chili. For this one, they have Chicken or Beef version.

As the name suggests, the Sambal Setan is extremely spicy, savory spicy burning yet very addictive, luckily it comes with iced tea 😀 for this one.

Ayam Sambal Wewe IDR 39.5k
Crispy deep fried chicken filled seasoned with green chili. The green chili has medium spiciness level, it has a pleasant fresh aroma in it thanks to the use of lime leaves, very enjoyable and tasteful as well especially when paired with crunchy ‘kremesan’.

Ayam Gongso IDR 39.5k / Daging Sapi Gongso IDR 44.5k
Easily me and Mr. Jajan’s top favorite!! The seasoning has very balanced flavor, savory with subtle sweetness and medium spiciness. Both beef and chicken are equally delicious! The chicken version is deep fried, while for beef they use thinly sliced beef which is very tender.

Ayam Sambal Matah IDR 39.5k / Daging Sapi Sambal Matah IDR 44.5k
Personally we prefer the other ones but their sambal matah version is actually quite enjoyable. If we have to choose between chicken or beef, for sambal matah, we would definitely choose the beef one since it’s so tender with all the flavors fully absorbed into it.

Daging Sapi Cakil IDR 44.5k
Ok, we have a quick description for this dish. Javanese version of “Y*shinoya” but a more delicious version with Indonesian flavors. My oh my, this is SO SOOOO GOOD!! Tender flavorful beef with hint of spices, savory with subtle sweet taste, plus pleasant spicy aroma from chili.

Daging Sapi Grundel IDR 44.5k
Similar with the above but the NON SPICY version with thinly sliced beef sauteed in special ‘semur’ seasoning.

Ayam Bakar IDR 39.5k
Sometimes the least expected one can be very surprising. Their grilled chicken was so delicious beyond our expectations, perfect for NON SPICY food lover. The chicken was fully marinated with amazing chargrilled aroma in it. TASTY!!

Overall it’s easily one of the BEST RICE BOWL vendors in town!! Strong bold taste, very palatable with all the good Indonesian flavors, filling and super satisfying. An easy choice that will not disappoint, Highly recommended!!
