Officially opened for public few days ago, Sushi Hiro is a modern Japanese sushi restaurant with wide variety of dishes from Sashimi, Nigiri Sushi, Agemono, Teriyaki/ Shioyaki, Noodle, Donburi, Chirashi, Temaki, Maki, Gunkan, Salad, Soup, etc they have it all here.
Specially for the sushi, AnakJajan must say that Sushi Hiro serves great variety of sushi from the classic authentic creations till the modern fusion sushi. Omakase menu is also available for IDR 1mil.
Sushi Hiro at Pantai Indah Kapuk is located across the street from Hello Kitty Cafe. Me and Mr. Jajan personally love the ambiance of this restaurant, the combination between light wooden furniture, warm lighting and paper craft in the ceiling resulting a warm Japanese mood. The restaurant opens everyday on lunch and dinner time, 11.00 till 14.00 last order for lunch and then 17.30 till 22.00 last order.
Mix Carpaccio IDR 50k
Slices of Aburi Salmon and Kanpachi topped with mentai mayo and served with refreshing tangy dressing.
Salmon Rock n Roll
Huge portion of aburi salmon maki with shrimp tempura and zucchini and topped with minced aburi salmon, tobbiko and mentai mayo. The combination between whole ingredients was just right, not overly creamy and very enjoyable. Highly recommended!
Tamago Aburi Salmon with Cheese
Sweet juicy tamago topped with salmon and cheese and then torch-grilled.
Sushi Hiro has a unique way to serve their sushi in mini wooden stairs making the sushi very instagenic, we had Maguro Sushi, Aburi Salmon Cheese, Aburi Salmon Mentai, Shime Saba and Aburi Hotate Foiegras Beef served on the mini wooden stairs.
Maguro Sushi IDR 20k/ 2pcs
Aburi Salmon Cheese IDR 25k/ 2pcs
Aburi Salmon Mentai IDR 25k/ 2pcs
Shime Saba IDR 35k/ 2pcs
Aburi Hotate Foiegras Beef IDR 80k/ pc
Fish was fresh, sushi rice was cooked and seasoned nicely, another thing that AnakJajan love from Sushi Hiro is the proportion between sushi rice and meat, as you can see from the pictures, the fish topping of nigiri sushi was very generous with thick and long cut. For more fancy and unique creation, try the Aburi Hotate Foiegras Beef sushi that consists of torch-grilled scallop, foie gras and beef.
Salmon Volcano Roll IDR 40k/ 2pcs
Another favorite fusion creation, sushi rice wrapped with salmon and mentai mayo then torch-gilled and topped with tobbiko, the creamy delicate melt-in-the-mouth sushi was very soft and yummy.
Shiok Maki IDR 130k
One of the signature sushi rolls of Sushi Hiro, unagi sushi roll topped with aburi salmon and overflowed with mayo tobikko sauce. It was very flavorful, we didn’t need to add soy sauce anymore.
Aburi Beef Sushi with Garlic Chips
Mr. Jajan’s favorite, torch-grilled beef sushi topped with crispy garlic chips, this one was sooo good! The beef was lightly seasoned and very tender, the garlic chips added a nice crispy texture and delightful aroma into the beef. Must try!!
Overall, Sushi Hiro serves great and wide variety of sushi with reasonable price, from the simple humble ingredients to the fancy foie gras, uni or Kagoshima beef, they have it all here. Let’s Jajan!!
