[SINGAPORE] CHRISTMAS LIGHTS – Orchard Road, Winter Wonderland, Changi Airport

Every year, to welcome the magical time of Christmas and New-Year holiday season, Singapore always manages to decorate the city with festive decorations. From sparkly Christmas Light-Up at Orchard Road, Winter Wonderland at Gardens by the Bay, until Changi Airport, visiting Singapore during the end year holiday season is always a great idea.

It has been a while since the last time AnakJajan visited Singapore and visiting Singapore on December has always been my favorite time since the Christmas decoration is always exciting. To see our experiences, you can check our VLOG below↓↓↓↓↓

GARDENS BY THE BAY

During our short #AnakJajanSINGAPORE visit, we managed to visit some of the most captivating Christmas decoration. The first one is at Gardens by the Bay.

The center area of Flower Dome has been transformed into enchanting Christmas town with Santa’s Cabin, Mail Room, etc. Besides that, from 1st to 26th Dec 2017, there’s an outdoor Christmas Market called Christmas Wonderland in Gardens by the Bay that’s worth visiting, Check following link for more info about it https://anakjajan.com/2017/12/12/singapore-gardens-by-the-bay-christmas-wonderland/

CHANGI AIRPORT

Upon arriving or before leaving Singapore, make sure to visit Changi’s Mystical Garden with Sanrio Characters at T3 Departure Hall Level 2 to see the see dazzling indoor garden decoration filled with cute Sanrio characters. The event will last until 5th January 2018, so don’t miss it!

ORCHARD ROAD

When it comes to Christmas decoration, Orchard Road has gotta be one of the main places to visit. The festive decoration never fails to impress, this year of 2017 the theme is “ENDLESS WONDER”.

The malls, halls, and entire 2.8km stretch of Orchard Road are decorated with sparkly colorful lights and ornaments. It’s such an eye candy you’ll totally get the exciting holiday vibes there.

At Ngee Ann City, there’s Great Christmas Village market filled with live music gigs, bazaar and a few of attractions for children.

In front of Wisma Atria, there’s an instagram-worthy spot called Enchanted Tree with lovely canopy-shaped lights installation, make sure you don’t miss it.

Ion Orchard this year collaborates with the famous jeweller Pandora to create a a 20-metre tall rose gold Christmas tree, it’s so eye-catching you can easily spot it.

Out of all places in Orchard Road, the lights installation in front of Forum Shopping Mall has gotta be our most favorite ones. The tunnel of lights is so magical and sparkly!

The Christmas Light-Up in Orchard Road can be enjoyed for more than a month from 11 November 2017 till 1st January 2018.

For partygoers, on 24th December 2017, there will be Christmas Eve countdown party at Orchard Road during midnight. If you happen to visit Singapore during Christmas, don’t forget to join the festivity of Christmas.
