[KOREA] SCHOOL UNIFORM RENTAL – Ehwa Gyobok, Seoul

In South Korea, besides Hanbok rental and Vintage Clothing rental, there’s a new unique way to explore Seoul by renting and wearing school uniform just like the one you see in K-drama.

Reminiscing the school days, me and Mr. Jajan got our bucket list checked by getting matchy matchy in school uniform and it was really fun!

WHERE IS IT?
Ehwa Gyobok is located inside Galleria Palace building B1 Floor. The easiest way to go there is by subway to Jamsil Station (line no.2 or no.8) Exit 4.

Address:
Ehwa Gyobok
Galleria Palace building B1 Floor 36-27, 28, 29
Jamsil Station (line no.2 or no.8) Exit 4
Opening hours: 09.00-22.30

PRICING
The most asked question, here’s the price for uniform rental (a set of Top, Bottom, Vest, & Tie):
Full day KRW 20k
1 night 2 days KRW 25k
2 nights 3 days KRW 30k

Me and Mr. Jajan got the 1 full day rental. We also got additional Jacket for KRW 5k/ jacket coz it was still freezing cold and the uniform looks cuter with jacket.

For rental, at least 1 ID Card (Passport) and KRW 5k deposit are required and it will be returned to you once you return the uniform back (before closing time 22.30)

For additional needs such as jacket, legging, belt, bag, socks, underpants, etc, you can rent with additional price from KRW 100 to KRW 5k.

SIZING
Many of you are concern about the size but don’t worry, THEY HAVE HUGE RANGE OF SIZES from XS to XXXL.

RENTAL PROCESS
There are soooo many selection of uniform design, after choosing it, you can try it in the fitting room. You’re allowed to try on 2 sets of uniform.

After that you can style your hair or do your make up at the dressing room. They provide huge mirrors and flat/ curling iron there.

Walking around with high school uniform, it feels like we’re Goo Jun Pyo and Geum Jan Di from Boys Before Flowers tv serial 😀

It was super memorable. Seriously you have to consider it since it can be a unique and different option besides Hanbok rental, highly recommended!
